Room was large and very tidy with good quality shower gel and shampoo which smelt really nice. The airconditing worked really well which was needed in such hot weather. The staff member working behind the bar was lovely and made fantastic cocktails (during happy hour which is great value may I add). The breakfast was brilliant and there were so many good options. The only downside of the hotel is the fact they charge so much for parking on top of an already expensive hotel, I do think the parking should be included for guests.

2nd time I've been here. Great location with underground parking (extra £18/day). Tesco & corner shop just up the road, pub next door, walking distance to train station. Public areas very nice, rooms ok, semi recent updates, with usb sockets etc, bath & shower, looks like my room had an adjoining room internal door so that's a useful option if you've got kids/family with you. No pool but I think there's a gym/sauna on the 4th floor.

The hotel was lovely. The car park is at the back of the hotel and was easy to access. The location is great, as you can walk to pretty much anywhere in Bristol from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast had a great variety of options, and everything was fresh and tasty. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The whole team was welcoming, friendly, and polite throughout our stay.

This Novotel has excellent, top tier staff who are so lovely and welcoming! Great customer service. The reception, bar and restaurant areas are presented beautifully, it resembles a modern 1920s with a rustic/bougie twist. Location is great, 10 minute or less walk to Bristol Temple Meads. 20 minutes walk to Hippodrome, Beacon…etc. also bus stops outside hotel. Also they have a Carpark, 2 hours for £8 is the lowest price I saw at a glance. Breakfast had a buffet of full English (hot, fresh and delicious. Veggie sausages out with the other breakfast items), breads with spreads, cereals, fruits, continental with pastries and pancakes. Milk alternatives are readily available and clearly labelled next to the “normal” milk. Tea and coffees machine are easy to use and tasty. The room itself is spacious! Great size but they need to be updated. Be warned the rooms are not sound proof, walking up and down the corridor you can hear people talking in their rooms and while you’re in the room you can hear outside! The room I stayed in needed a new sink in the bathroom as it had a biiiig chip in the middle, the bath’s faucet was coming off the tub, the shower was low pressured. The bed was okay, good size (very squeaky, IYKYK). The tv had normal everyday channels which is fine but the signal in the room was dodgy so made the tv glitch out quite a bit (haha) and others may complain about not being able to connect to streaming services from their devices to cast onto the tv. Overall it’s a good hotel because of the location, atmosphere and the staff.

Very good hotel near the train station and well located for exploring city centre. There is also a number of bus stops in the area to go to Clifton for example. Good sturdy bed and various pillows. Overall good facilities and amenities, clean rooms and lovely toiletries from the Rituals. I would like to express sincere thanks to all the staff especially the reception team and the bar. I did try the food and drinks and all were very good quality. Thank you!
