I can honestly say the best fish and chips I have ever had. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but the food is truly incredible. I got the lunch time deal which is a great offer. The portion is so huge. The mushy peas are great as well; they aren't the florescent green processed mushy peas some chippys serve. They are flavourful and full of real peas! I will definately be returning
Just had my first experience at Fisk & Frite! Such a good lunch deal of £10 for cod, chips and a drink, but most importantly the food was incredible and the staff were so friendly! A really nice environment for a meal. Really look forward to my next visit!
We really wanted to eat fish & chips during our stay in Bristol and were happy that we came here for it! The food was great and really yummy. We chose the battered cod + triple cooked chips and the dirty chips. The portions were HUGE, which we didn't expect - but it was a pleasant surprise! You really get a lot of food for the price, very much worth it. Both dishes tasted really good, I especially enjoyed my dirty chips. They were fresh, crispy, had a good amount of sauce, cheese and toppings on top. The crispy fried bits were a great additional touch. My friend also liked her cod and chips very much - we just couldn't finish both dishes, as one could have been enough for two people. Only "negative" point was that we arrived at 20:20 o'clock and the Restaurant closes at 9 p.m. which should have still given us 40min to dine in. But we were told due to them closing 'soon' that only take-away orders were possible atm. So we had to order als take-away and we ate our dishes on a bench in the park nearby. Still tasted good tho. We also thought that the lady at the counter wasn't that friendly, but the other male workers were very friendly and also helpful when my friend wanted to make sure if there is any diary in the food she ordered. Definitely recommending this spot. The interior ist cute aswell.
Absolutely the best fish and chips we’ve eaten in Bristol. And it’s gluten-free! The batter is so light and really delicious. Super fresh fish, the most incredible scampi which is battered and not breaded which makes it even more delicious. The chips were to die for, and the dirty fries are unbelievable. They do a brilliant value lunch offer of fish and chips plus a drink for just £10. The service was extremely friendly and we will be racing back in the very near future. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
Guys you gotta check out their toilet cause it’s an aquarium for your a** but! You will want to stay for the best food and service imaginable. Cosy, bright, full of plants on the ceiling, fairy lights and little decorative hot air balloons! The food is amazingly portioned and every detail of it is honestly perfect including some of the best chips I’ve ever eaten. Batter is light, crisp and everything is full of flavour. So well priced too considering our portions. A great place for a date or just to be with your mates/ family. Staff are legendary!!!
