Amazing breakfast, coffee and service! Highly recommend popping in one morning if you're in the area. We weren't actually staying here but it's no problem to turn up and ask if they have table on the day. I went mid week, I recall somewhere it was stated they usually have walk-in tables but the breakfast is that good. And especially of its a weekend, might be worth booking
For £14.50, it was a little disappointing given it's price point. Beans weren't served warm/hot, but maybe because I came only an hour after opening on a Sunday(?) They could be a little more generous regarding portion sizes - Wasn't expecting beans in a tiny saucepan/pot, and probably 2 tablespoons of mushrooms. However, the food did taste relatively good.
We staid at Hort's Townhouse as first time visitors in Bristol, and were really delighted with the accommodation and location. The hotel is located on a quiet street, just a stone throw away from St Nicholas market and the old city of Bristol, short walk from Christmas steps, and easy walk to Cabot Circus shopping area or restaurants in the harbourside. It's ideal if you are there to discover the city! At the same time the hotel is really nice and intimate traditional townhouse with a lively pub downstairs. We didn't hear any noises to our room and slept very well. Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with lots of little special touches including a personal greeting card (loved it!) and small bites. We'll definitely plan to stay here again if coming to Bristol next year! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!
Amazing stay! Stayed in a bigger boutique room, which was immaculate and lovely thoughtful bits left for us. Food and drinks were amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will absolutely be booking to come back. Our daughter doesn’t want to ever leave apparently
Booked a 2 night B&B stay that included a lunch or dinner to the value of £30 on their autumn weekend break deal. The room was comfortable enough, although there were a few small issues which were relayed to the management. Breakfast on both mornings was superb, cooked to perfection. The dinner was another matter..my starter of mushrooms on toast was lovely, however the main course was burnt and dry. I sent back the black Yorkshire pudding, the roast potatoes were solid and the veg roast was totally inedible. James (if I remember correctly his name) was most apologetic but had no explanation.
