Superb lunch yesterday on a beautiful day in Bristol. Service was great, location is great and every dish we had was atleast a 9/10 and for the quality you get the price is very reasonable. One of our new favourites in Bristol.

We had a birthday dinner at Box-E and the experience was extraordinary. For those thinking tasting menu is a bit too much and want to stick to la carte menu like us, I can assure you that they are as tasty and delightful. They will try their best to address all your requests and foods are simply really delicious. The environment was very nice and cozy, the stove they had outdoor makes the dining experience much better in a really cold and windy April night. Overall, best dining experience we had in Bristol so far!

Exceptional quality food. We had the tasting menu for my birthday meal, and every dish was better than the last... Flawless presentation from the Michelin-starred chef, and the service was brilliant, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We went to Box-E last night to celebrate our anniversary. It is an Intimate place, nicely decorated and was quite warm and cosy (something I’d worried about from reading reviews, but the temperature was fine and I was by the door). We had the tasting menu with wine tasting. It was all gorgeous, and well paced - we didn’t feel rushed at all and each dish/wine was well presented and introduced well by the staff. Favourites were the halibut, duck and desserts although we enjoyed everything! Drinks were lovely too. We liked the wines with the dessert courses especially. Service was good.

We had a birthday dinner at Box-E for 2 people, one was a pescatarian and we were accommodated for perfectly. We had the Tasting menu with the drinks paring (one alcoholic and one non alcoholic). We thought all the drinks were complimentary to each dish. The restaurant is small inside and has some outdoor seating. Staff were very attentive and explained each dish and drink well. We enjoyed all the courses that came as part of the December 2025 tasting menu
