Great location next to malls and restaurants. There is also a park right outside the hotel however it has some unsavoury characters hanging around at all times. Makes people feel unsafe. The hotel lounge was the standout feature of the hotel as it has plenty of room and snacks are great on the evening. It was extremely hot in there though ! Parking right next door at a special rate of £17 a day with in out privileges. Overall the hotel needs a good update in the some of the common areas. However the parts that have been done look great especially the family room.
I have stayed here twice now, (6 days total) and have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Staff are friendly and super helpful attending to your needs, water refill stations (ice cold) are conveniently located around the hotel for hydration, the breakfast buffet has a huge selection of just about anything you could want (eggs, baked goods, charcuterie, yogurt, cereal) and a fancy coffee machine, the gym… blown away by how spacious and how many machines and vast amount of equipment was available (20+ machines, dumbbells, yoga mats, kettle bells, yoga balls, towels), housekeeping comes everyday and very thoroughly cleans, and the best part as an American visiting.. AC in the rooms! I also really appreciate the plugs having USB. Nearby a huge mall with food + shopping walking distance and a bus station for easy transportation around the city too. Several bars/cafe/restaurant options within the hotel available as well. I will certainly be a repeat customer, and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bristol.
I had a decent stay at this hotel for one night on a business trip. The location is absolutely brilliant, walking distance to large shopping area in town centre and also train station and local buses. The building is really impressive inside, with a nice bar restaurant area. There’s also an outdoor terrace which is lovely. Lounge for eligible guests is nice, well stocked and clean, with great staff. Rooms were good, same other Delta’s which was nice. My only comment is on the windows for rooms facing the road. Buses and other vehicles driving on the road over a manhole cover making noise all night. Staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Will be staying here again.
We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights with my mum and my sister, and honestly, everything was just perfect. We kind of booked it a bit on a whim. I already knew Bristol quite well, but I had never stayed at this hotel before, and it ended up being an amazing choice. The staff were absolutely incredible — genuinely a 10/10. They couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming throughout our entire stay. The room was great, very comfortable and clean, and all the facilities were in excellent condition. Everything felt really well taken care of. The breakfast was also fantastic, with plenty of options and really good quality. We did have a small issue with the air conditioning, but it was resolved in less than five minutes, which honestly says everything about how efficient and attentive the team is. Overall, we had such a lovely experience and would 100% recommend this hotel. We’d definitely come back!
Room was perfect very clean and well presented, mattress was VERY firm but once we got used to it, it was fine. The pillows were divine. The view was also lovely. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful Only thing is I was not completely impressed with was the bar, very expensive and the menu was almost obsolete as they had nothing I ordered from it. I gave up on my 3rd request and just ordered a standard spirit and lemonade, the barman did double it up for me for the inconvenience which was very kind, so it was still a good experience
