Absolutely wonderful stay We stayed at Hort’s Townhouse for my my partners birthday, and they went above and beyond to make the occasion feel genuinely special. From the moment we arrived, the little touches made such a difference — the room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, and the birthday touches (balloons arranged on the bed and even a card) were such a lovely surprise. We also dropped off our stuff early in the morning and the bags were already waiting in our room when we checked in and we even got complimentary port and sweet treats left in our room for the experience- such a nice touch. The whole stay had such a warm and welcoming feel, and the attention to detail really helped make the experience feel really special. We also had a fantastic breakfast the following morning — everything was delicious and it was the perfect way to finish our stay. A huge thank you to the whole team at Hort’s Townhouse for making us feel so welcome and for helping create such a lovely memory for us. We would absolutely love to come back! ❤️
Be warned - there’s no onsite parking. I hadn’t appreciate that and drove around aimlessly for 10 mins. There’s an NCP 8 mins walk away but when you’ve got bags and cases, after a long journey it’s just a pain. I parked next door in the hotel opposite for convenience and paid £19 for the privilege. The carpark is super tight though, so if you have a big car - have fun with that :) Once inside, the room I had was pretty small but the quality of the furnishings, fittings and amenities was very good and it felt premium and the AC was greatly appreciated. Nice touch with the complimentary snacks, little bottle of port and hand written note- very sweet. Guys on the front desk and bar are all very friendly and gave good recommendations on local food spots. Location is good and walking to the centre and all the bars/ restaurants is only a few mins walk. Breakfast in the morning was very good and good quality ingredients. Would come back but the parking situation would be the only thing to make me hesitate.
Easily one of the best short stays I've had - If you appreciate a spot on city centre location, super friendly staff and beautifully styled and appointed rooms - Horts Townhouse has you covered! Fantastic value for money, lovely personal touches. Considerably higher priced hotels need to watch out. Thanks you Team Hort's Townhouse - I've found my go-to hotel in bristol - Could not have been better.
11/10 stay at Hort's Townhouse!!! We are sad we only stayed one night. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. After dropping of our luggage in the morning and returning for check-in, our luggage already waited in the room for us. The rooms are very silent, very clean, comfortable bed, beautifully desigend and have a spacious bathroom. Their breakfast was also fantastic! They even write a handwritten note to welcome you. We actually stayed in for the evening, because we loved the room and the tranquility of it so much after a few hectic days. 100% would come again - now every other hotel has to live up to the high standards that Hort's Townhouse has set for us.
Lovely hotel in excellent location. Room spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with perfectly cooked poached eggs - something that most restaurants do not get right. However, it's the staff that take this hotel up a notch. Nothing too much trouble and I could have hugged the member of staff who fixed our air conditioning on the day it hit 32 degrees! Thank you for a fab 3 days - we would definitely book another Youngs hotel if this is the standard. Highly recommended.
