Had a couple of visits to this top lounge, and must say it's one of the best I've been to out of almost 100 visited! Vibrant atmosphere, bustling location and great service makes this a must see when in the locality. Wiper and True ale was good as well as the cider; the big surprise was Modelo on draft! 👍.
Went for some drinks and food with friends on a Saturday afternoon. It was extremely busy, a lot of families there with small children be8ng pursued by concerned parents. It was really impressive seeing the staff navigate all of the people traffic without a spill on their travels. My sister has some accessibility difficulties but Ava really looked after us. Managed to get us a table sorted for 6 people quite quickly. I was intrigued by what they had done with the top floor as it was a bigger space when it was previously the pitcher and piano, there's an extra wall been built with loads of decor which is signature of the lounge family. We ordered all of our drinks and food via the app and it all came in good time without much wait between our orders. Staff regularly collected glasses and cleared tables rapidly after people had finished keeping the space cleanly despite how busy it was. Overall everyone had a good time food was nice and the staff were super friendly and tentative to people's needs.
First the positives. Location is amazing, over looking the river. Also, staff are very nice and friendly. Now for the breakfast. The eggs were hard and over cooked while the sausages look anemic. Its like they showed it to the grill or due to the hot weather they put sun block on it to stop it getting burnt.
Pretty decor pink theme outside the restaurant good when it is sunny with drinks and tapas. A whole gluten free menu lots of options but taste was average. Accessible bathroom available ground floor of restaurant.
