The food and atmosphere was perfect! We came for a graduation and we were so well looked after. Everyone loved the food and had glowing reviews around the table. A special thank you to our waiter Joel who looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!
This is the second time I have visited Bosco, but is unfortunately not as good as the Bristol branch. The food was good and the staff were attentive, but the overall experience fell short of what I’d hoped for. The atmosphere was quite loud, with tables packed closely together, so it didn’t feel very intimate or suited to a special occasion, especially compared to the Bristol branch. The constant flow of Deliveroo drivers coming in and out was also a bit off-putting and took away from the ambience.
We had such a wonderful experience at Bosco in Clifton that I felt compelled to share it. After a bit of a stressful start to our evening—missing a reservation elsewhere due to having to change hotels—we arrived at Bosco without a booking, not expecting much given how busy it was. But the team couldn’t have been more accommodating and kindly found us seats at the bar, which actually turned out to be the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere. We were greeted by a lovely young lad who immediately made us feel welcome, and from there the experience just got better. Saskia, who served us at the bar, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. She took the time to let us taste the wine before choosing and clearly knew her stuff, offering great recommendations. Beyond that, she chatted with us about the local area, suggesting places to visit and other spots to eat, which really added a personal touch to our evening. It was also really lovely hearing about her background—having studied textiles—and how, even though she’s not following that path right now, she’s genuinely happy working at Bosco. That really came across in her warmth and enthusiasm. The food was incredible—especially the prawns and pizzas. Everything tasted beautifully fresh and authentic, just like something you’d find in a small Italian town. You can really tell the chefs take pride in what they do and maintain high standards. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of life. What stood out most was the team dynamic—Saskia and her colleagues were clearly having fun, laughing together, and creating such a positive vibe that carried through to the whole restaurant. A huge thank you to Saskia and the team for turning what could have been a disappointing evening into such a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!
Great spot on Regents street & was really busy on the Saturday lunchtime when we visited. Bosco do the omnipresent pizza but we opted for pasta on this occasion. Both portions were good size. We had counter seating & good watch the chefs making the meals. Staff are friendly & answered our questions. The restaurant does a weekday lunch deal which looked really good value. Will definitely visit again. Found this one a little more intimate than the whiteladies Rd branch.
