Beautiful hotel! Lovely people and nice rooms!!! Cannot complain about anything! Maybe the view of the wall and since it was the heatwave having better airflow and the sherry felt a bit gone so having this changed will be better. The staff were so lovely!! The fans in the room could also be improved as well.
Lovely old hotel with character and charm. The decor and furnishings are high quality and classy. I was so happy to have a teapot with real tea in the room. I wish there were more hotels like this. Very convenient loc for the university.
Great stay, lovely old-school service from an independent team of passionate staff. Nice touches like the "sip me" bottle in the room. The restaurant is excellent - inventive, fresh and very well prepared and great value. The hotel deserves to do well and be buzzing - where attention and real human service matter.
1st full day here and our room didn't get touched. Till I mentioned at the desk and the lovely came and made our bed. Another day the didn't leave milk or bags. Buffet breakfasts are cool not very hot. Staff are lovely and helpful
I attended a wedding at Berkeley square hotel. Outside is great, well decorated and generally a nice area to socialise in. Inside (bar area) is ok. It is a fairly small venue and felt quite cramped. Drinks were pricey (as to be expected in the location) but good! I really want to comment on how one member of staff was generally unpleasant and really dampered the atmosphere of the wedding reception. I think he was the bar manager (longish length hair). I moved a bar stool - he told me not to move furniture. I put a drink down on the bar - he told me I couldn't put my drink there. Someone was reading a bottle of tobassco sauce that was put in their drink - he snatched it out of their hand. He was snapping at people asking who was next to order drinks. All round just miserable and unpleasant. I would not recommend this venue based purely on the treatment from this one member of staff.
