Great sound quality and a cool venue around £7.50 a pint. Worth a visit to see your favourite band! Friendly staff.
Electric Bristol is easily one of the best spots in the city for a gig. The acoustics are incredible—crisp, loud, and way better than some of the bigger arenas. The multi-level layout is a massive plus; if you want to be in the middle of the energy, the main floor is electric, but the balcony views are perfect if you want a bit more space to actually see the band. Recently went to see Pink Shift and Granson there. The production (lighting and sound) is always on point, and the staff/security are surprisingly friendly and efficient for a city-centre venue. Definitely check their lineup if you're a student—it's a Bristol essential.
This place has gone by lots of names over the years (SWX & The Works to name a few) but now it’s Electric. It’s a decent venue for bands, the sound is good and there’s different floor levels (to the sides and upstairs) to watch them from if all the tall people are in the main pit. There’s bars up and downstairs, prices are club level and fairly generic beers on offer.
What a great venue for bands! Big enough to make it a bit more special, but small enough to feel a real connection with the band. Gigs start early at 6.30 fir support band and finishes before 10 as the place turns into a student mecca party club. Staff were great. Drinks are about 7 pound a pint. Cloakroom. NCP parking nearby. Taxis can pick you up outside. Went to see Tom McGuire and the Brassholes gor the first time. Recommend if you like funky, energetic and exhilarating music. Great atmosphere. Will definitely come back to this venue.
I went to watch Eivor live, all the security very friendly, making sure everyone follows the rules, not taking any liquids inside, including me, I was offered the opportunity to retrieve the drinks in the end, and there they were. Inside, two great and big bars, very close to audience. Great space, big and clean toilets. Congratulations to who manages the venue and the team,are doing a great work. Definitely will return with no doubt. Very excellent impression indeed. Thank you
