That made me feel old! Having an hour before my train onward and not having been in Bristol for several years, I walked in asked for Thatch 'n slice, and the young barmaid had never heard of it. They no longer had Thatchers Trad, but did serve a very nice pint of Cheddar Valley cider. Time was half the drinkers in here would have had a Thatch n' slice.
Lovely environment well sited at the City centre, lovely people cool to interact with and shear feelings accordingly A visit will definitely shape your life style
stopped by this bar on our way back from cardiff and it totally made our trip! the guy at the shank was an absolute legend, super friendly and got us some amazing apple cider. my mate and i got properly smashed and had the best time. nearly missed our flight but honestly, worth it! great vibes all around.
