One of the best Holiday Inn we have been to. Great location, ample parking onsite, refurbished, spacious rooms, very clean, good facilities, lovely breakfast and great customer service. A big shoutout to Sami at reception who quickly resolved an issue to our satisfaction. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.
I had a good stay here. The room was immaculate, the bed and pillows very comfortable, air con, a beautiful view of a weeping willow tree right outside my window. I got a brilliant rate on a booking site so a happy customer here. I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our holiday very much. Such a spacious place, very modern and rooms were very well air conditioned. There was such a good view from the windows with cute little bunnies and the beds were very comfortable. The best part was the welcoming staff, Maria in the breakfast department was very welcoming and helpful and made us very comfortable. And Mee the waitress in the afternoon during dinner time, was very nice and made our dinner times very special. And the food was immaculate, we enjoyed every breakfast and dinner that we had there, and there was such a wide selections of foods for everyone. Also, the pool was great. My kids and myself used the swimming pool every day, sometimes multiple times. It was very well kept and extremely hygienic. Overall, very great hotel, very recommended, will be coming again.
My colleague and I held a training course at the hotel and the feedback from the delegates was amazing. The room was very well presented and had everything we needed to run a successful session with plenty of break out areas and refreshments. The working lunch was amazing and they catered for all preferences. The parking was plentiful and so easy to access from all over the UK with major motorways within a few minutes drive from the hotel. For those who do not drive there is a railway station a few minutes by taxi from the hotel. I would recommend any meeting or conference room at this hotel without hesitation.
Only way I can describe this hotel is meh! The building is old and as they say 'you can't polish a turd' but they have tried. They've tried to modernised it but at the end of the day it's bones are old, there was a weird, dank smell in the corridors and my bathroom was particularly stinky (the drains). My room was large with modern decoration (I had a premium room) but not the cleanest- the basin had a brown crust round the plug hole and there was an empty bottle on the floor. The food was tasty enough in the restaurant and the staff were lovely...... when they eventually served me. I stayed for 2 nights and both nights I was repeatedly ignored and had to actively ask to order. I normally stay in the Holiday Inn Express just down the road but thought I'd treat myself which didn't work out. I'll be going back to my trusty Holiday Inn Express for my (weekly) stays from now on
