Stopped in here for 1 drink but ended up having 4, friendly staff and good Renate of drinks and cocktails, we sat in a lovely chesterfield sofa next too the open log fire! Great atmosphere which led us to stay a lot longer.
The team have done an amazing job with everything at the Ship since they took it on and reopened in the recent years. The whole place has a great atmosphere, has good music and event nights, is lovely any time of year (fire in winter, large open windows in summer), and is really well looked after and in a great state throughout. Great selection of drinks, and staff are very welcoming and attentive. I recently hired out their downstairs event space for my birthday party. The team were really helpful throughout this process, including by coordinating and delivering a large food order for the party from their partners. I would highly recommend their private hire services. I would advise anyone considering this to do what we did, get in touch with them and arrange a quick visit to the site for a tour and chat about what you want to do, to ensure you are happy the space suits your needs, and that you are both on the same page.
One of my faves in Bristol. Good cocktails and beers , extensive happy hours!! The 2 guys who seem to run the place are lovely too
