Visited a couple of days ago for third time and it never disappointed! Great selection of starters and mains, a nice variety of gentle and well combined flavours. Would strongly recommend the mussels and the wild sea bass. The service was simply impeccable, knowledgeable recommendations about some wine pairing and the cocktails were spot on. And last but not least the oysters....aah I'll be definitely back for more of this amazing experience.
Inventive, delicious and independent! Dined there last Friday with a colleague. We sat downstair and we're served by a knowledgeable fella (sorry ive totally forgotten youre name!) but he was fantastic. He went though the whole menu and gave us a tasteful breakdown of the specials. We both order the tuna steak which was done to perfection. The wine was extraordinary and competitively prices. Overall cracker of an evening and we left thoroughly satisfied. When you go, make sure you get the potato skins to start (their in the snack section!).
What a wonderful plaice, full of character and excellent service. The only improvement I would say is the potato skin starter could of been a little crispier but the rest was perfection, go for the fish and stay for the dessert, the creme brulé is the best I've ever had!!
Hands down one of the best lunchtime experiences we’ve had. Amazing seafood, lovely atmosphere, and faultless service. The scallops and Thai green mussels were real highlights, but honestly, everything we tried was delicious and worth ordering. The team were brilliant, super attentive, happy to talk us through the menu, and spot-on with their recommendations. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back in the evening.
Absolutely brilliant, very nice little place to take the family for a treat, we had starters, mains and desserts and they were perfect. We will definitely be going back for more, well worth the drive from Wells Somerset. Very pleased with the guy that served us as well, excellent service and hospitality . Thank you so very much.
