⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really enjoyed our stay at Mercure Bristol North The Grange Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely surroundings and a much nicer atmosphere than we expected from the photos. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Tabish, who kindly helped us cancel a duplicate booking without any fee and arranged a convenient ground-floor room for us. Great customer service and a very pleasant stay!

Is it a bit old? Yes, but does it mean is worst? No! It’s a very nice hotel, that will help you relax and enjoy the stay in this beautiful and quiet area. They have around 80 acres of land where you can go for a nice evening walks. Rooms are clean and mattresses are nice. Service is super helpful and breakfast was superb! We haven’t had a dinner there but I believe it was delicious too (especially burgers. I saw one looking amazing). Big social room. Huge parking and those amazing views is something that you sometimes just need to clear your head and relax. Highly recommended!

Management has let this place fall apart. The staff are SO friendly and welcoming, even the breakfast buffet staff are amazing. And the grounds, incredible! There’s some real charm here; it just needs a lick of paint, air conditioning or at least quiet ceiling fans. The room’s tower fans did barely anything and were so loud. I could get a more effective one for £ 25, surely. The bath/shower was so narrow you can barely shower without smacking the shower curtains. My garden view looked out to a stash of discarded furniture outside; hardly worth staying on a huge property! It’s just too far gone to call itself a Mercure. I’m currently in Mercure up in Nottingham; this is what Mercure should be!

We arrived after 3pm and our room was not ready, the staff were most apologetic and offered complimentary drinks at the bar. The hotel was just as I expected large communal lounge and lovely bar. Our room was spacious and comfortable breakfast was delicious with plenty of hot and cold choices on offer. During our stay(5 nights) there was a conference, a special event dinner and a wedding none this impacted our stay or comfort and we still felt the intimacy of an old country hotel. The grounds are lovely for a stroll and plenty of parking. Every staff member was fantastic and friendly but special thanks to Anastasia for her cheerfulness and knowledge of the old property.

Beautiful hotel and lovely stay. Location is great and room was fab. Staff are lovely and friendly. Anastasia stood out the most, the breakfast was fantastic anyway, but she made it extra special for us and went extra mile with her smile. She is a combination of kindness, sweetness and professionalism. Thank you for our perfect stay. Will return.
