Amazing tapas lunch at Bar 44. The food was excellent, the flavours were incredible and my husband, who is usually hungry after small plates couldn’t finish all his food. Shout out to Kelsey for the excellent service. Warm, friendly and the right level of attentive. All the food was so flavoursome, some faves - calamari, chicken dish, giant olives, the boys LOVED the cider chorizo sauce, the red prawns… in fact all of it. Ps. Proper anchovies, too. Delicious.
Delicious small plates with perfectly attentive staff. The cocktails were tasty too. Good place for a special meal as it’s a little on the pricier side. Lots of tasty veggie options.
Came for a Sunday roast as a twosome. We had the pork belly sharing board which was delicious! The potatoes were well seasoned and nice and crispy on the outside - could just be a touch fluffier inside, but overall good. The leek gratin was a favourite 🤩 The service was a little slow and when we asked for extra gravy it never materialised which was the only downside of the occasion, but overall was nice and would recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a fantastic Sunday lunch today at Bar 44 and couldn’t fault a thing. The roast beef was absolutely spot on, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. But the standout for me was the leek gratin, which was genuinely exceptional. One of those dishes you keep thinking about afterwards. Service was fast, super friendly, and really attentive without ever feeling over the top. A lovely touch was the team very kindly moving us to a table with more natural light simply because I mentioned I prefer daylight, a small detail, but it made a big difference and sums up the level of care. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a really enjoyable place to spend a Sunday afternoon. An easy five-star recommendation. I’ll definitely be back. 🍽️✨
Excellent! The team were attentive and warm, food was wonderful- with all dietary requirements considered and catered for. A friend hosted a dinner party in one of the private dining rooms and it was honestly wonderful; courses were prompt, drinks kept flowing and the team were great with us all! Thanks so much Bar 44, looking forward to returning soon x
