A lively and enjoyable night club with a great atmosphere, good music, and a welcoming environment. The staff were friendly, the venue was well maintained, and the overall experience was fun and entertaining. A great place to spend an evening with friends.
Great venue for live music. The sound was fantastic and the atmosphere of the general surroundings made it ideal for a live music event. I haven't been on a club night so I can't comment on that, but as a live music venue it works really well. Great beer and friendly and helpful door/security staff. My only criticism, hence the 4 star review is a strange encounter with a member of the bar staff. My colleague politely ordered a pint of the Brooklyn Pilsner, to which the member of bar staff forcefully slammed the contactless card machine down on the bar with a look which clearly suggested my colleague had abused/offended them in some way. We were both quite stunned so I quietly removed myself and got served by the other bar member who was perfectly lovely. However, I then witnessed the other member of the bar staff treat at least 4 other customers with the same apparent aggression and rudeness. As a business owner myself, I would be mortified if I found a member of my staff treating my customers in such a disrespectful manner. I appreciate we can all have off-days and so forth, and I was hesitant to write this review as I appreciate how stressful it can be to run a business. But I do feel it would be constructive to pass this on to that member of staff and politely ask them to consider their customer etiquette. All in all though, a great venue and we had a fantastic evening aside from the off encounter at the bar.

This venue always stands out from the rest and comes complete with absolutely lovely staff. Moomin the manager clearly runs a welcoming and well organised place and you can tell theres a great atmosphere because of all of them. Sasha, Cushla and Ieuan behind the bar are all super friendly and genuinely nice to be around. It is so great to come across a team who exudes such a relaxed and caring energy!
I didn't eat here, but I went there for an event organised by Velvet Peacock for Valentine's Night, and it was spectacular, spectacular. What a great event and what a fantastic place.
