Well worth the 8mths wait 😄, food was exceptional, we had the brisket and it just melted in our mouths, veggies cooked well and a great seasonal selection. Staff were great, friendly and helpful and the service was brilliant. We are going back later this year and already planning visits next year.
What a spot! Doing Britain proud with a robust plate of food. Bravo 👏 Sunday roast in a humble pub and equally excellent service. Yes it’s sold out for 2026 so if you are lucky enough to have a reservation… keep it!!
A CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub hidden away in a back street. 4 real ales plus a cider. Flat Eric ordered a 4% Bristol Beer Factory Amber. Very good. Boothroyd Bear finds Bristol rosé wine choice poor so had a Cola. A tented village to the front. Mens toilets steeply downstairs.
A Delicious and Interesting Pub Lunch I had in Bristol earlier today "Rabbit Stew" 🐰 for the first time and I love it, with an Incredible Taste too and a Glass of Cider on the side of course 🍺 definitely worth visiting, the Staff were very friendly and helpful too, thank you all very much! 😋 🍽 👍
WOW! We waited 10 months for this table, after getting a reservation on NY Day! It definitely did not disappoint, it was delicious!! I had the rolled belly pork, it was lovely! The service was tiptop, everyone was very helpful, and nothing was too much. This was my first return, and definitely wont be my last, I already have my alarm set for reservations for next year. Thankyou everyone at The Bank Tavern, for a lovely afternoon, with great food and service. 5*s all round.
