It's been a lovely experience to come here. Everyone is very welcoming. There is a great range of boardgames ready to go.
The staff here at Chance and Counters are brilliant. Every time I arrive I'm met with smiling, happy faces, and it's clearly a well-run place. They have a great variety of games, which makes it fun and exciting to try something new each visit. The food is above average and always enjoyable, with a great selection and really yummy milkshakes. The atmosphere is great fun, though it can get quite noisy if you're in with a big group of students. Their customer service really stands out too, for example I emailed them with some ideas for a special occasion and they were more than happy to accommodate, going well above and beyond what I'd normally expect. Highly recommend this place for anyone into board games and nice, tasty nibbles.
Super fun and friendly. Smaller than the Gloucester Road one but in a great spot by the Christmas steps. Loads of games organised well in good condition - and staff advise on games really well
