Very lovely place to stay, which made it a favourite of mine. The style and cleanliness of the rooms were to a high standard which made it welcoming to stay in. Impressed with the standard of food. The hosts were warm and welcoming.
We enjoyed our stay. Good spacious room, comfortable, wot a well-equipped bathroom. Room was at the front, so a certain amount of incidental noise from the road, but we slept well. Good breakfast. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very convenient for Blaise Castle and grounds with its amenities, attractions and beautiful walks. Local Blaise Inn pub is lovely and has great food. Recommended ✔️
Had an excellent time here. Staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful, food is very good. While the hotel is clearly furnished in an old-fashioned style, I was very pleased that the bathrooms and showers were very modern. Would recommend and stay here again.
Room was spacious and comfortable, modern bathroom, easy car parking, reasonable breakfast despite lack of fruit and poor quality sausage. However I was very annoyed on checking out to be asked to pay £29 for breakfast which I’d already paid for as part of the deal on the booking app I used. Despite clearly explaining this at check-in the information was not recorded on their system and at check out the receptionist and manager did not accept I had already paid for breakfast despite showing them my booking confirmation. The receptionist even asked me to pay saying I’d be refunded if it was proven breakfast was paid for. I refused and eventually the manager saw sense. This was a very frustrating end to my stay and in fact made us late for a funeral we were attending. I wouldn’t use this hotel again.
