We booked in here very last minute and were very grateful. The rooms are cosy and came equipped with a fan to see us through the heatwave. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly and really are a credit to the hotel. Being able to leave luggage in a secure cupboard was also very appreciated. Excellent location too just across from the indoor and outdoor markets. Would definitely stay again
Excellent stay at this fun and funky hotel ! The small caravan was cosy and just enough for a night ! I would have loved to have stayed longer as it had great view across the roof tops and close to the city for exploring ! Food and hospitality was great and the whole places had a chilled vibe! They even held my bags for the day so I could wander around til my evening departure !
Good location. Ok stay - not particularly enjoyable. Don’t know why Google has it as 4 star hotel. More like 3 star accommodation. Central location - great for sightseeing. But also means it is surrounded by pubs and eateries, plus the associated drunken noise / loud talking, extraction fan noises. Woke up in a bad mood from guests / staff talking in the courtyard very early in the morning, as the noise reverberated. The windows do a pretty good job at keeping the noise out but the room gets very stuffy and warm when fully closed. Cleaning could be more thorough and allocated more time: lamp shade had dust and previous guest’s hair, dusty window shutters, build up on shower head, fluff ball in tea/coffee compartment 🤮 There isn’t a ‘do not disturb’ sign so there’s an expectation they will enter room daily. En-suite toilet was small. Small enough to have a split door and half sink. Size of sink made it hard to wash face, brush teeth without getting water everywhere. I do want to acknowledge that the staff were friendly and polite. The shutters do a decent job of keeping the light out. But wouldn’t recommend or stay again.
Excellent find in central Bristol. The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was also really good value.
Great central location. There was a festival on so there was music and singing in to the early hours, but that's what happens when one chooses a central location. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, but the room (for 1 person) was comfortable with a good sized bed. The breakfast selection was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
