Top Rated - Accommodation in Bristol

Finding great accommodation in Bristol can be a bit overwhelming, but these top-rated spots stand out because actual travellers have praised them time and again. The ratings you see here come from genuine reviews, not just a few isolated five-star scores, so you know they’ve earned their reputation over multiple stays.

You’ll find these picks spread across popular areas like Clifton, known for its charming streets and views, as well as nearer to the city centre where convenience matters. Spring and autumn visits often reveal quieter streets and better deals, so keep that in mind when booking. A quick tip: pay attention to reviews mentioning cleanliness, staff friendliness, and location, as those tend to reflect the real experience more than just the photos.

Local stay advice

If you want a local feel without straying too far from central Bristol, consider booking accommodation in Clifton during spring. The area is beautifully leafy and quieter than in summer, and you’re just a short walk from the Suspension Bridge and the downs. Bristol’s weather can be changeable, so look for places with flexible cancellation policies in case a rainy day slows your plans. Also, check if your accommodation has parking or if street parking is allowed. Some streets in Bristol have restrictions, and parking can be tricky if you rely on a car.
