Upon arrival, the very cramped car parking spaces were a bit of a shock and if you have a larger car (by which I mean a 'family car' or bigger), you'll struggle to find a wide enough space. I noticed many cars had exceeded the restrictions of the bays. If you're not driving, this hotel is pretty far from the traing station, but is close to the main bus terminal. However, the hotel more than makes up for this deficiency in many other ways. There was a speedy check-in, thanks to the use of a new registration terminal, which I hope sees its use extended to other hotels. I was upgraded to a 'Priority Club Floor' room. This notably benefitted from a larger TV, full-length windows and a little more floor space. It could potentially be worth upgrading to for those having a longer stay. The 'mini gym' on the first floor was very impressive. Featuring a 'StairMaster' machine, it was easily twice the size of most other Holiday Inn gyms I've used.
Good checking by Anne. Very good briefing with a warm nature. Breakfast is consistently very good, with a great selection available, and we particularly appreciate the customer service provided by Marta. She is highly efficient, always ensuring our needs are met, and in our opinion, she truly goes the extra mile for returning guests.
I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. The room was a good size and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent -very close to the city centre. Staff were very courteous and very responsive if there were any issues. Cleaning staff were efficient.Overall, I had a fabulous stay and would stay at this hotel again.
The staff and cleanliness were excellent. The room was very clean and felt very safe. The brunch was excellent. The staff was super friendly and responsive. It is listed as a 4 star hotel but quality of rooms was closer to 3. The furniture in the room was dated and heavily scuffed. The TV was placed on a very short table and was practically on the floor. There was only one sheet on the bed covering the mattress and it wasn't fitted. I would go again, easy location to walk to most things
Great place. Would highly recommend. Me and my girlfriend stayed there over the weekend and we’d definitely go back. Really tidy and well kept. Room was relaxing with great facilities. Staff were very polite and happy to help. Food the next day was excellent with a really nice dining area and great view. Parking attached to hotel was really convenient and secure. Will be looking for holiday inns in future.
