Reviews
My room was spotless and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was impeccable and included a bath. The manager was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about attractions and events in Bristol.
I stayed here last night, the room was dated as others have said but it was clean and comfortable. Komal took care of my check in and she was wonderful, very professional and welcoming, she explained the amenities and the door locks. I had a kettle with coffee and tea in the room and a fan too. TV is small but good enough. For my purposes (a work overnight stop) this hotel was very good for the price.
I had a great stay, it is a fantastic hotel that is in close proximity to the city centre, uni campuses and main attractions, only a 20 min ish walk away. For the price, amenities and location it is incredible value for money especially for Bristol. The service provided Komal was also excellent, she was really helpful and kind. Definitely recommend for any short trip to Bristol.
A good location for if you are wanting to explore Bristol, about a 20/30 minute walk from the main city centre and shopping quarter. Check in was okay, everything is securely locked with an electronic system so no panicking about loosing your room card. The rooms were a bit of a let down… felt quite dated in the room, the hand towels were left on top of the toilet seat, the net curtains were all ripped, the bed felt small and you rolled into the middle of it during the night, the pillows were terribly uncomfortable & hard there was no softer ones available when we asked. The staff were friendly and helpful, although we had an electricity issue and the person at reception gave me a light bulb to change myself? Never had that before… Over all unlikely to revisit.
Seriously. 44 pounds for a double room. The sheets were clean, the room was tidy. It was quiet and very easy to find. There was even parking for a tenner. If i had paid a lot of money i might have complained a bit about the older appliances or the daggy decor. But you get what you pay for and for 44 pound a night my wife and i were extremely happy
