Had the delight of attending the shellfish and jazz night for my partners 30th and in her words it was a night she'd never forget! The food was amazing, staff super lovely and the band added a great atmosphere to the occasion. There was a mistake with desserts, which wasn't a big deal at all, but the staff were very kind in offering to comp our after diner drinks. We are both looking forward to another visit!
We absolutely loved our visit. Freshly caught fish and seafood, with a daily menu based on the catch. My wife loves seafood so we booked it for her birthday treat. The food was amazing. My actual favourite was the Dover Sole which was out of this world. We had 3 course each and 2 drinks, the bill came to £180 ( including tip), which I thought was very reasonable when we had the scallops and lobster. Great service, very friendly and relaxed. Loved the music as well, added to the ambience. Look forward to the next reason to celebrate and visit again.
Highly recommend! Great seafood restaurant, worth every penny. I had the crab and mushrooms toast to start, followed by tuna steak with salad. My husband truly enjoyed scollops and monkfish 👌
Best fish restaurant in bristol, Excellent fresh scallops, grilled lobster and homemade icecream. The bayleaf & chocolate icecream was a nice suprise and worked really well as a plalet cleanser.
I visited the Spiny Lobster on 6th December for the first time on recommendation of a good freind Liza who lives locally. The restaurant staff are very friendly the kitchen is small and open to view, fish is cooked on open flame which added to the ambiance. We enjoyed 3 small scollops @ £15.50 as a starter and grilled Monkfish @ £37 for main accompanied by new potatoes and flame grilled cabbage all cooked to perfection. The three hour lunch and catch up chat was perfection and definitely Spiny Lobster is on my list to visit again soon.
