ブリストルで最も有名で最も古いパブの1つ。このパブは1664年にさかのぼり、幽霊が出ると言われています。内部は古世界のパブの魅力とキャラクターに満ちています。かつてのランドガー・トウは密輸業者や船員によってよく訪れられました。この古い施設にはいくつかの有名な文学的なつながりもあります。ここでロバート・ルイス・スティーブンソンが『宝島』の中のスパイグラスホテルを、作家ダニエル・デフォーがロビンソン・クルーソーのキャラクターをここで出会った船員に基づいて作成したと言われています。フラッグストーンの床、多くの古い隅や細工、過去の時代の絵や遺物などが魅力を引き立てています。目を閉じて、かつての客が海の物語を楽しんでいる様子を想像してみてください。中に座って雰囲気を楽しむか、晴れた日には外の石畳のテーブルの1つを選んでください。バーでは、ドラフトやボトルのビール、サイダーや伝統的なパブフードなど、さまざまな種類のお酒が提供されています。
