Specializing in tea and cocktails, Papaji's colonial style interior provides a welcome escape from hectic city life. The owner, Andy Dodd’s passion for tea and cocktails is reflected in the style with which your tipple of choice is served.
If you’re a tea lover there’s a choice of over 85 teas from around the world to choose from, with every pot of tea brewed according the characteristics of the particular blend. Don’t worry if you don’t know where to start, the staff are on hand to help you find the best blend of tea to suit your taste. There’s also a range of delicious homemade cakes to tempt you.
Fancy something a bit stronger? Choose from the extensive drinks menu that includes a range of tea infused cocktails, beers, wine, spirits and of course fantastic cocktails. Then sit back, relax and enjoy! During the summer (and winter if you’re hardy) you can retire to the delightful garden to indulge in tea or alfresco drinking.
For those who like a party atmosphere, DJs playing soul, funk, classic rare groove R'n'B, reggae, ska, dub, breakbeat & liquid drum 'n' bass are in residence on selected evenings – call ahead for details. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, Papaji's offer free venue hire, wonderful canapés, delicious finger buffets to enjoy alongside the amazing selection of cocktails. Fun activities such as cocktail making sessions, tea, gin and wine tastings are also available.
