I visited Ciao Amici in Bristol to try some Italian food, and I ordered the Formaggi pizza. As a vegetarian, it was the closest option for me, and honestly, it was the yummiest pizza I’ve had absolutely delicious, mamma mia! 😍 Not exaggerating, but this place is a pure hidden gem for Italian food. My friend tried the beef spaghetti pasta, and he was super impressed with the taste and flavours. The atmosphere was so enjoyable and cosy, with all the tables full, which added to the lively vibe. The staff were polite and welcoming too. Definitely 5 stars from me!
A really comforting lunch. The salmon tagliatelle was creamy without being too heavy, and the salmon portion was generous. The rocket & parmesan salad balanced everything nicely and kept the meal fresh. Portion size was great too — satisfying without feeling overwhelming. A lovely spot for a slow lunch in Bristol.
Loved the food, loved the atmosphere and a service. We felt so welcomed. Tables quite close to each other but some how still felt very private. I normally not a desert person but this time just couldn't resist. If we ever will be in the area again we definitely will come back. Thank you for a lovely evening.
I went with my partner for the second time and it’s such an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible, made fresh and there’s no long wait for it either. The staff are friendly. Parking can be tricky - I recommend parking at Trenchard Street which is cheap then walking 3 minutes to the restaurant. There is street parking by the restaurant but this is usually all taken. Highly recommend booking as it can get very busy there
An excellent Italian restaurant that was a pleasant surprise. Lovely staff and unashamingly warm and homely. The Italian way, not fancy or prude, just delicious and homely. Fungi Alla Crema (3), not great for me, could have scorched the mushrooms more to give it a stronger maillard flavour. Calamari Fritti (5!) absolutely gorgeously fried and tasty calamari, not greasy at all! Tagliatelle Fruitti Di Mare (5!) delectable tomatoes base seafood. The seafood ingredients aren't much but it makes up in flavour. Mostly prawn forward tomatoes sauce.
