Don't walk by this is a fantastic find, I had stayed at the Hilton opposite a few times and had always walked past and down to the waterfront area for dinner as it is an unusual building. Well the food was excellent, clearly a very talented chef, small menu but fantastic food. Very friendly staff, seating and courtyard basic but functional. Will for sure be back when I'm in town again
One of my favourite restaurants in Bristol. Always fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish. We finished with tiramisu and coffee, which were the perfect ending to a great meal. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was superb, we had the Duck ragu and the Amatriciana which had a generous amount of guanciale. Unfortunately they had ran out of the Pistachio tiramisu and the waiter was very apologetic about it. The restaurant is set in an old house by the ring road and has a rustic charm/feel to it, might not be to everyone's taste but in a nice way it felt like eating at grandma's house
Had a great time at La Panza. Perfect spot to wind down at the end of the day, especially when the sun drops and the air finally cools. It has that easy, original feel of Italy with a view on St Mary Redcliffe Cathedral. Their menu works well for an aperitivo or a dinner. Their handmade focaccia and olives, and simple, fresh ingredients were perfect to start a meal but also good on their own. Service was quick and attentive without being over the top. A solid, relaxed place to end the day well. I’ll definitely be back for a summer dinner ❤️☀️
Simple & authentic Italian food that feels like it was served in Italy. Quality ingredients, simplicity, good prices and friendly service. Far better than a generic UK Italian place.
