VERY pricey, but worth it for the quality of meat and the experience. My wife and I went for the caveman steak to share - it was delicious! The butters were fine, but the sauces (beef dripping, and peppercorn) were amazing. It was fun cooking the steak on the hot stone - a great theatrical experience. Our server (Lily) was also great - she was a fellow coeliac like my wife, and put her at ease and walked through all the dietary restrictions. She also gave my wife other local recommendations for gluten free. Overall, a fabulous experience and well worth trying.
Really enjoyed our meal at Mugshot Bristol. The steak was excellent, cooked exactly how we liked it using the hot stone, and the quality of the meat was fantastic. The chips, mushrooms and asparagus were all delicious, and the selection of sauces was a great addition. Generous portions, great atmosphere, and a fun dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
Had the most amazing steak here!! Would definitely recommend. Me and my friend shared the porterhouse steak with the different selection of butter to cook it on made sooo juicy! Lovely service 🩷🩷
Absolutely great little place that’s well worth the visit! Fully enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The staff was more than accommodating, the food was delicious with the different butters and sauces to change the taste with every bite. A super night and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you :)
My boyfriend and I were on holiday in Bristol for the weekend for his birthday and last minute booked a table here. The venue itself is super cool and I cannot express how amazing everything was, the food was beautiful, we had the tenderstem broccoli, bone marrow mash and a ribeye steak, we absolutely loved the concept and had so much fun. On top of that our server Lily was absolutely brilliant, such a lovely and nice girl who gave exemplary service, she gave amazing menu recommendations, and lovely activities to do afterwards. Thank you for such a lovely night Lily and all staff, you were brilliant :)
