The Waverley: This seagoing paddle steamer was built on the River Clyde in Scotland in 1947. Take a trip to visit the seaside at Ilfracombe, see Lundy Island , view the picturesque Avon Gorge or cruise the Rivers Avon Severn & Wye. Waverley has been fully restored and boasts towering funnels, timber decks, gleaming varnish and brass and a 2100 horsepower triple expansion steam engine. You can watch the engineer operate the engine and see the massive 18 foot diameter feathering paddle wheels turning as you cruise along the water. .

The Waverley sails from late August to mid September. Please check their website for times of sailings.

Hot food and refreshments are available on board.
