4.5 out of 5 Food, service were excellent in the uniquely Bristol Stoke Croft area. The only knock was the music. The setting is more suited to something more chill. Otherwise, the food, the halibut with dill and broad beans and the bavette steak with fries, the gorgeous Hispi cabbage as a side and our coffees to finish. Lovely lunch. Recommend

Visited 21/06/2026. Had a lovely Sunday lunch at Caper & Cure. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a really unique, quirky atmosphere. The food was delicious with some fantastic flavours throughout. The only minor drawbacks were that the meat portion felt a little small and quite fatty, and the roast potatoes could have been fresher. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back to try the regular menu.

Exceptional food, served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great value for money as well - Onglet was stunning, as were the oysters. Very reasonable wine list - love to see Pecorino (wine) on the menu, went very well with the starters and the fish main course. Burrata delicious as well! (big enough that everyone had some! 😋)

Lovely Mother's Day lunch. Although the menu is mainly roasts on a Sunday, they had a fish option plus lots of lovely starters so it was actually very difficult to decide what to order. Everything was delicious and the food is beautifully presented. The orange sponge cake dessert was divine. Lovely ambience and relaxed friendly service. Highly recommend!

Feels like a french cafe restaurant with the food being quality. House red wine was good value. Both Beef and Chicken Sunday roasts were excellent with crispy roast potatoes and a side of cauliflower cheese. All served and presented really well. A new favourite place.
