Dont be put off by the location just off the Bear pit (St James Barton roundabout) -Food is great if you stay away from the traditional anglified dishes
Come to the Mayflower for authentic Chinese dishes. The restaurant is frequented by the local Chinese community which is usually a good sign. Mayflower is always packed so book to be sure of a table. It looks a little unpromising from the outside and the interior is a bit stark, however the food is great. Be sure to check out the 'Chinese Special' section of the menu.
