Thali Cafe, Southville
The Thali Café as the name suggests specializes in serving mouth-watering, Thali food served in the traditional Indian style - on a dish containing several compartments. Each Thali dish is accompanied by basmati rice, tarka dahl, mint raita, salad and vegetable subji. There are choices to suit vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Those who love desserts should try the delicious, home made Indian Kulfi Ice-Cream.
The Thali Café is committed to using fresh, local and ethically sourced ingredients
If you prefer to eat at home Tiffin takeaways are available. For £24.95 you buy an insulated, four tiered stainless steel Tiffin, containing your chosen Thali. Then, next time you simply take the Tiffin back to the café for refills. Refills cost from £8.50 for enough to feed two people.
