Trips and Tours

Join GoCycle for this three and a half mile cycle tour round the harbourside and neighbouring area. You don’t have to be a cycling expert or be super fit, as the route is not hilly. The tour has a “vintage” theme, with your guide Graison, dressed in vintage clothes and some of the bicycles dating as far back as the 1940s.

The route starts at Pero's Bridge on the Harbourside and takes you to Queen Square, St Mary Redcliffe Church, the Quakers Burial Ground, Redcliffe Caves, Bathhurst Basin and then on past Brunel’s ss Great Britain, taking in points of interest along the way. You then move on, over the Ashton Swing Bridge to enjoy a fantastic view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge before cycling back towards Millennium Square. At the stopping points your guide will fill you in with noteworthy facts and historical snippets. Fans of the famous graffiti artist, Banksy, will be delighted to view some of his work along the way.

Bicycles are provided. It is recommended that you wear cycling helmets; these are available from the guide.

GoCycleTour prides itself on being environmentally friendly and no motor vehicles are used for transporting the bicycles etc.
