Located in Clifton village this unpretentious seafood restaurant, complete with paper tablecloths, serves excellent fish at good prices. If you fancy a treat, try sharing a shellfish platter for two.The restaurant is on two floors. The ground floor contains the bar and kitchen and has a lively ambience. The interior is decorated to a nautical theme with ships' lanterns, portholes and even sails strewn across the ceilings. There is a daily changing menu featuring fresh produce. Examples of the great dishes that may be on offer include: deep fried calamari with sweet chilli sauce, pan fried sardines with basil and black olive butter, beer battered haddock and chips, mussels steamed with white wine garlic and cream and a wonderful hot seafood platter. On a recent visit with a large party, the food and service was friendly and efficient. All the dishes were well presented, fresh and beautifully cooked.
